why does this make sense?
Bc our number system is based on 10 and 5 is exactly half of 10, so 5 is a “stopping point” the same way even numbers are. Ex: ya got 5 fingers on each hand. 5 is a “complete” number. If we had 7 fingers on each hand we’d probably feel the same way about 7
